The overall aim of the European SPES Forum is to make spirituality accessible as a public good to as many people as possible. Spirituality is deliberately defined in broad and pluralistic terms so that the Forum may bring together people from different spiritual backgrounds and traditions.

This International Conference will bring together educationists and professionals from different areas in the industry to address issues of human values, ethics and spirituality in doing business in the Indian context. It aims to identify new directions for spirituality and ethics together to build better leadership in the industry. The conference is organized by the IFIM Business School, Bangalore, India In cooperation with the European SPES Forum, Leuven, Belgium and the Business Ethics Center of the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary.

The 'Business for Peace' Conference will be held at the venue of the Novotel in the historical town of Ypres. A visit to the battle fields of the Great War and a participation in the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres are also part of the program. Spiritual Humanism, Economic Wisdom - Essays in the honour of Luk Bouckaert
This special publication collects international essays in the honour of Luk Bouckaert. In the spirit of the European SPES forum, this volume covers issues of contemporary economics using a humanist perspective and discusses interrelated problems of business, ethics and society from spiritually based viewpoints.
