The overall aim of the European SPES Forum is to make spirituality accessible as a public good to as many people as possible. Spirituality is deliberately defined in broad and pluralistic terms so that the Forum may bring together people from different spiritual backgrounds and traditions.

On September 22 and 23, 2011 the European SPES Forum held its seventh international Annual Conference in Antwerp on Responsibility in Economics and the Legacy of E.F. Schumacher.
