There are two kinds of memberships in the European SPES Forum: individual and institutional.
Individual membership
Individual membership of the European SPES Forum is not based on any payment of a fee but on a commitment of active participation.
To become a member of the European SPES Forum, you have
- to sign the letter of commitment
- to participate in a European SPES activity
- acceptance by the European SPES committee (during the annual conference new members will be introduced).

Individual Members list
Membership applies for three years but will be extended for the same period with every new participation in a European SPES activity. Members will receive an e-newsletter with all information on the European SPES-forum.
The founding members of the European SPES-forum are these members who participated in the founding meetings in Leuven (October 2004 and October 2005) and signed the letter of commitment.
Institutional membership
Becoming a partner institution in the European SPES Forum implies:
- a commitment to support the mission of the European SPES Forum
- an intention to participate in the activities and/or research projects of the European SPES Forum
- an effort to co-operate with other members of the network, to exchange relevant information and, if possible, to host a European SPES activity.
Institutional membership applies for five years but will be extended for the same period with every new participation in a European SPES activity.
